on and we operate a policy of constant reinvestment and continuous improvement, so there was only one thing to do:
invest - and improve!
IKD Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms are now committed and
eager converts to the powers of 3D Computer Aided Design, and can offer you a virtual representation
of how your room is likely to look once we've refurbished it for you, as we can incorporate doors, windows and any other
key features your room may have.
This service helps the majority of our Customers make some
big decisions, that could otherwise have proved costly. For example; many Customers have been torn between one
or more style, design or colour of door, or whether to opt for a built-in oven or plumb for the dual-fuel range they've
had their eye on. These are perfect - and real life - examples of how the IKD Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms' 3D
CAD service has come into its own, as each alternative option can be visually presented to the Customer for their consideration.
Many Customers find it infinitely easier to either confirm or discount a possibility, once they can see how it is likely to
look and integrate with the rest of the room.
As some of our Customers may be unaccustomed to the benefits our
3D CAD service, we have included a handful of examples here for your reference. You will note that we have
also included a couple of examples for each of our main areas of expertise: kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, so you
can see how the CAD service may benefit your refurbishment.
The whole process begins with
detailed measurements of your room being taken, which would also include notes on immovable obstacles, such as doors, windows
and soil pipes etc. These dimensions are then entered into the CAD software and an outline of your room will now exist,
complete with your "immovables". The rest is now down to the skill, experience and creative imagination of
your IKD Designer, who will utilise a number of CAD tools and facilities at their disposal to produce the best
possible kitchen, utility room, bedroom, bathroom, en suite or home office, that your individual space will allow.
